This course is intended for network administrators, support or design staff who require a greater understanding of Cisco troubleshooting tools and methods on Cisco products
This course also provides the skills and knowledge required to obtain the support portion of the Cisco CCNP Certification.
Course pre-requisites:
Delegates are required to meet the following pre-requisites, Completion of the courses below or have the equivalent knowledge:
CCNA
Switching
Routing
Remote Access

Review and understand main protocols
HTTP, Telnet, TCP, UDP, IP, Ethernet, Token Ring
Review troubleshooting methods
Review and use troubleshooting tools
Network analysers, Media testers, ping, trace, show commands, debug, Cisco’s web site (CCO)
Troubleshooting Labs
Both router and switch labs combining both TCP/IP and IPX/SPX protocols
