Original Course Outline Follows:

This course provides delegates with the resource description, troubleshooting methods, and hands-on experience to troubleshoot complex Cisco Inter-networks.

This course is intended for network administrators, support or design staff who require a greater understanding of Cisco troubleshooting tools and methods on Cisco products

This course also provides the skills and knowledge required to obtain the support portion of the Cisco CCNP Certification.

Course pre-requisites:

Delegates are required to meet the following pre-requisites, Completion of the courses below or have the equivalent knowledge:
  • CCNA
  • Switching
  • Routing
  • Remote Access

    • Topics covered on the 4 day Cisco CCNP Troubleshooting course

    Review and understand main protocols

  • HTTP, Telnet, TCP, UDP, IP, Ethernet, Token Ring


    • Review troubleshooting methods



    Review and use troubleshooting tools

  • Network analysers, Media testers, ping, trace, show commands, debug, Cisco’s web site (CCO)


    • Troubleshooting Labs

  • Both router and switch labs combining both TCP/IP and IPX/SPX protocols
