CIW Foundations Course Outline


Course Description
This course is aimed at Web Developers who wish to develop their skills to enable them to create, run and update websites. It provides a foundation in Network and Internet technologies and goes on to cover web authoring; web, mail & e-commerce services; and security.

This course is also suited to those who wish to take the Certified Internet Webmaster (CIW) Foundations Exam 1D0-410. Passing of this exam leads to CIW Status and is the first step to other CIW certfications such as Master CIW Designer and Master CIW Administrator.

Course pre-requisites:
Delegates should be familiar with the Internet to the level provided by the PTR Practical Internet course.
