Course Description
This two-day instructor-led course will provide the knowledge and hands-on skills for installing, configuring, and managing a BizTalk Server 2004 hosting environment. Students will learn how to deploy, administer, and monitor BizTalk Server applications and how to backup and restore services, data, and applications. Students will also be provided with a comprehensive workbook containing notes, hands-on labs, and links to additional online references.

Course pre-requisites:
This course is intended for systems engineers and network administrators with 2-3 years of experience managing an enterprise level Windows Server environment.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Visual Studio .NET
  • Familiarity with Web Services concepts
  • Working knowledge of XML

  • Install and configure a BizTalk Server 2004 hosting environment
  • Secure a BizTalk Server environment
  • Install and configure BizTalk Server client administration tools

  • Administer and monitor BizTalk Server operations
  • Backup and restorea BizTalk Server
This is an instructor led training course taught in a classroom based environment.
