SAVE IT MCDST Scheme
PTR offer a SAVE IT MCDST scheme to make achieving the status of MCDST more affordable.
The Exams
The Microsoft Certified Desktop Support Technician (MCDST) certification is aimed at desktop support staff and those holding this certification can demonstrate that they have the necessary skills to support and troubleshoot the Windows XP operating system and applications that run within the Windows XP environment.
To attain the MCDST certification two exams must be passed:
Core Exams:
- 70-271 Supporting Users and Troubleshooting a Microsoft Windows XP Operating System
- 70-272 70-272 Supporting Users and Troubleshooting Desktop Applications on a Microsoft Windows XP Operating System
The PTR SAVE IT MCDST Conditions
The PTR SAVE IT MCDST entitles you to sit two courses in total. Each course can be sat only once. The courses can be selected from the PTR Schedule and must be taken within 12 calendar months of the scheme being purchased. The two courses must also be attended in a single week (back to back).
Both courses must be attended by a single named delegate. Payment must be received in full prior to the start of the first course. No refund or re-sit will be offered in the event the delegate does not pass the associated exams.
