Course Description
This course is intended for Network Administrators, Database Administrators, System Administrators, Application Developers, MIS Managers and Technical Support Personnel.
Certification: For students studying towards Oracle8i DBA certification this course provides the core knowledge for exam 1Z1-024 (Enterprise DBA Part 2 -Performance Tuning).
Course pre-requisites:
Delegates should have attended DBA1A (Enterprise DBA Part 1: Architecture and Administration). They would also benefit from having Oracle7, Oracle8 or Oracle8i database administration experience and a thorough knowledge of Oracle architecture. Experience with Oracle Performance Manager and Oracle Enterprise Manager would also be beneficial.
