When PTR was formed in 1989, the core business was telecommunications and data communications consultancy, and the provision of datacomms products, such as modems and routers.

You will see from looking around this website that the company's main focus today is in the provision of Technical Training Courses. But, whilst the Training division continues to grow successfully, we haven't severed all ties with our roots. In fact quite the reverse, many of the courses we run are based around specific technologies and products that we also supply and install. So not only are we able to advise on the correct solutions to install, our trainers have plenty of practical real-world experience and knowledge, making our courses of an extremely high standard.

The first partnership PTR entered into was with Motorola UDS / Codex, whose range of Modems, Routers and ISDN Terminal Adapters we stocked. Motorola subsequently licensed the 326x and 3460 range of modems to Telenetics Corporation, who continue to supply most models that were in the Motorola catalogue. We remain as one of few UK suppliers of the Motorola / Telenetics range of modems, and whilst we don't carry huge volumes of stock, delivery times are fairly reliable.
