RSA Network Security
Routers

Enterprise information boundaries have disappeared as corporations have opened their networks to allow external access to internal systems. In this environment, the need to provide network, system and application security is essential. RSA ACE/Agents™ enable e-business by controlling access to corporate networks, Web applications and operating systems. Combined with RSA SecurID authenticators and RSA ACE/Server authentication services, RSA ACE/Agents protect sensitive data assets stored within the enterprise. Stronger than static passwords, RSA ACE/Agents require two-factor authentication — something you know, and something you have — before access is granted.

Highlights
    • Secures Windows NT/2000, Lotus Domino, Netscape, OS/390, AS/400, NetWare, UNIX and VMS resources
    • Facilitates e-business with authenticated access to corporate information assets
    • Protects multiple resources with one RSA SecurID authenticator
    • Integrates with existing systems
    • Ensures user accountability
Security Guards for Protected Resources
RSA ACE/Agents function like security guards, enforcing security policy as established within the RSA ACE/Server system. They intercept access requests and require designated users or groups — whether local or remote — to authenticate to the RSA ACE/Server with an RSA SecurID authenticator prior to gaining access to protected resources. Especially effective for protecting high value or regulated information — where passwords are an insufficient form of user authentication — RSA ACE/Agents provide complete user account-ability and are a natural complement to PKI technologies. Whether protecting NT networks, IBM mainframes or Web applications, RSA ACE/Agents ensure your valuable resources are protected with RSA SecurID two-factor user authentication. In addition, RSA ACE/Agents are embedded in almost every VPN, RAS and firewall product available today.

Leverage existing investment in RSA ACE/Server and RSA SecurID
The same RSA SecurID authenticator and RSA ACE/Server can be used to protect multiple resources — providing a high return on investment. Because users are centrally administered, new users can be added and new systems can be protected with minimal administrative effort.

Securing Web Applications
Extranets have become an essential e-business component, enabling communication with customers, partners and suppliers. Whether you need to secure Microsoft IIS, Domino or Netscape Web servers, RSA/ACE Agents will protect your Web applications from unauth-orized access. Additionally, you can control user privileges to determine what users can and cannot see once they are granted access. And because RSA Security’s solution is designed to work with Secure Socket Layer (SSL) encryption, your organization can be assured that information is secure as it travels across the network.
  • Provides portable user credentials for accessing intranets and extranets
  • No need to install software on user’s desktop
  • Ability to secure back-end systems throughWeb servers
  • Ensures privacy of information in transit with SSL
  • Manages user authentication and access control
