The Training Centre
PTR offers a schedule of over 300 technical training courses with most being delivered in our classrooms at our training centre in Wokingham,
Berkshire.
The training centre is situated in the centre of Wokingham, which is within easy reach of the M3 and M4 motorways, and only a few minutes walk from Wokingham railway station which is on the Reading to Waterloo and Reading to Gatwick lines. The training centre is therefore ideally located for those coming by car, train and plane too, as we are within easy reach of both Heathrow and Gatwick Airports. The training centre is comprised of 6 classrooms, 5 of which are air-conditioned, and can accommodate class sizes from between 2 and 12 students. The training centre caters to some extent for disabled persons, but wheelchair access to the classrooms which are on the first and second floors is by lift only. Internet access is provided for those that need to get online and check their email etc... If you need to do a bit of shopping or pay a bill, Wokingham town centre has many of the major high street stores and banks within easy reach, as well as a large range of pubs and restaurants. If you are staying in a hotel there is plenty to do in the evenings as well as the pubs, with ten pin bowling centres, cinemas, swimming pools, gymnasiums, ice skating and skiing facilities all close by. For delegates that are travelling and wishing to stay close to the Training Centre overnight, we have a list of hotels and guesthouses that offer local accommodation covering a wide range in terms of price and facilities offered.
