Course DescriptionThis course is intended for those with limited or no programming experience. It introduces delegates to basic concepts in programming, through hands-on exercises. It serves as a foundation for those wishing to attend either of the courses Visual Basic 2005: Developing Applications or Learning to Program in Visual Basic 2005.

Part 4 – Variables and constants
- What is a variable?
- Creating variables and an overview of data types
- Using constants to hold fixed values
- Using an InputBox to get information from the user
Part 5 – IF statements
- Using IF to allow code branching
- Allowing for multiple execution paths with ELSE and ELSEIF
