Course Description
Upon successful completion of this course, students will be able to:
Use Visual Basic 6.0s debugging and error-handling tools.
Describe and create a class module.
Develop COM components and implement them in your project.
Use COM components developed by other authors, including Microsoft programs like Word and Excel.
Connect to a data source and retrieve data.
Display retrieved data on screen and in reports.
Create ActiveX Controls using constituent controls.
Implement help files and other tools to make your application user-friendly.
Prepare your application for Web deployment.
Add Visual SourceSafe to your project and use it to maintain control over your projects versions.
Construct SQL queries and explain the cursor and record-locking options available to you.
Build applications using WebBrowser and Active documents.
Course pre-requisites:
Create an application using Visual Basic.
Describe the relationship between controls and events.
Create a Microsoft Access database.
Work with Microsoft Word documents.
