Overview

Our Data Science with Python training course is aimed at analysts and software developers who need to create analysis and data visualisation solutions using the key functions and libraries available in and around Python. You will benefit from extensive hands-on labs, delivered by an expert Data Science practitioner who can guide you from the basics of data wrangling with Python to using sophisticated libraries to visualise and make predictions based on your data. The Data Science with Python training course comprises two modules - Data Analysis with Python, and Machine Learning with Python, which can be taken individually - let us know if you'd like to split your attendance of each module.

The Python framework covered by this course is the technology that powers the data engineering and data science workloads within Microsoft Fabric.

Microsoft Fabric relies heavily on Fabric Notebooks for data engineers and data scientists. Learning core Python data exploration is a mandatory prerequisite for writing code in these environments.

In Microsoft Fabric, Pandas is natively integrated to allow developers to read and write directly to OneLake or interact with tabular semantic models via the Fabric SemPy API.

Fabric introduced lightweight Python Notebooks alongside PySpark. This course teaches the essential local analysis skills needed before developers scale up to distributed Spark compute in the cloud.

This Python course provides essential training for professionals migrating to Microsoft Fabric, focusing on foundational skills for executing code within Notebooks. The curriculum enables the mastery of Pandas and NumPy, which are critical for accelerating data engineering and machine learning workflows within the OneLake environment.
